Windows offers an in-built feature of taking screenshots using two or more methods. You just need to press a few keys and the screenshot will be taken automatically. The screenshot can be edited further using different tools as per requirements.
I’ll discuss two different methods to take screenshot of any browser tab, or screen having windows operating system in it.
Method 1
- Press Print Screen (PrtSc) key. It will activate the Snipping Tool.

- Now crop the portion of screen in rectangle size as per requirement.
- Once You are done with cropping, a small popup window will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Click the Window to open it in full screen mode.
- You can crop and edit the image further if needed.
- After that Click the save icon at the Top right corner of screen.
- Now set Your saving location and name of the screenshot.
Method 2
- Press Windows + (Shift) + (S) keys to activate the cropping tool.
- Select the required screenshot in rectangular size.
- Once done this image will be copied into Your clipboard which You need to paste somewhere.
- Paste this image directly to Your documents if You think that no edits required.
- But If You need to edit the screenshot, Just paste it into Paint App or Snipping Tool App.

- To paste the screenshot press Control (Ctrl) + (V).
Method 3
- Press Windows + Print Screen (Prtsc) keys simultaneously, Now system will take screenshot of the window opened at that time.

- You can find the screenshot in the Screenshot folder of Your Computer. You can find the screenshot folder by following This Computer > Pictures > Screenshots.
- Now if You want to further edit this image, Open it in Paint app and edit as per Your requirements.
